This is my first completed needlepoint project that isn't an eyeglasses holder or bookmark. I bought it in Waikiki, Hawaii, having seen these birds bathing in puddles after a rainstorm. To me, their call sounds like, "Sweet? Sweet? Joy, joy, joy!" I haven't decided yet whether I will have it framed or turned into a pillow.
